I'd have to say that some of the coolest people I've ever met were at the annual Bike Week and Biketoberfest motorcycle events held at Daytona. I've been going to them for over twenty years now and the spectrum of people spanning from beautiful to bizarre never ceases to amaze me. There is such a wide variety of subjects to cover at each event and the sight, sound and color all combine to create a photographer's dream.

This gallery features the action during the 2009 Biketoberfest held October 15th thru 18th under sunny skies and fall temps. Still facing tough economic times a great crowd managed to keep the party going with an estimated 150,000 plus motorcycle enthusiasts attending the four day event. I spent most of my time down on Main Street but caught the Fall Cycle Scene held at the daytona International Speedway including it's annual Hooters bikini contest outside turn four. People are there to see or be seen and whether it's on a custom bike, competing in a wet-T contest or handing out Wild Turkey Bourbon samples one thing is for sure, everyone is cool and I couldn't ask for anything more than that at an event.
