The event organizers were smart to pick October 8th -10th to escape what turned out to be a very hot and humid Florida summer. The Ritz Carlton provided a beautiful location for the event and my friends from the Orlando Automotive Club put on a strong showing which always helps to make a great show. Three cars that I was really looking forward to seeing were the Mercedes SLS AMG , the Lexus LFA and the incredible McLaren MP4-12C which is pictured above. An unexpected surprise was the actual Batmobile movie car driven by Michael Keaton, the unique " Bob Hope Car "and a very rare red Maserati Birdcage worth about eight million. It's very hard to get a nice shot of these cars while other car enthusiast mill around them so I employed my usual strategy of staying late and capturing images as the cars drove off. It seems to work well as you'll see in these exotic car galleries.
